AHMG was founded in 2004 to create a unique and fundamentally different approach to Healthcare. Since its founding, AHMG has grown into 6 divisions (Healthcare, Senior Living, Mental Health, Family Enterprise, Risk Management and Corporate Leadership). After spending more than 25 years in healthcare, senior living and related industries, the AHMG team has identified a specific niche, side by side consulting solutions for our clients.  At AHMG we do not provide a binder, a drop box or a thumb drive, we provide and implement solutions side by side for all of our clients.  Our Lifeline program keeps us available for our clients whenever they need us.

AHMG’s leadership team possesses more than 250 years of combined experience in Healthcare, Senior Living, Hospitality, Mental Health, Risk Management, Family Enterprise, Operations and Corporate Leadership and Training.  

Joseph Jasmon, Founder; CEO / Managing Partner

Joseph Jasmon serves as CEO / Managing Partner of American Healthcare Management Group (AHMG), a nationally recognized consulting firm focused on operational and financial improvement in the following areas: multi-hospital health systems, stand-alone hospitals, rural hospitals, large physician groups, senior living communities, mental health facilities, and family-owned enterprises.  AHMG also provides leadership training, corporate retreats, individualized staff training, human resources and insurance audit services along with cost reduction strategies.  Jasmon has served as the CEO / Managing Partner of AHMG since its inception in 2002.

Joseph is a Founding Partner in Elevate Senior Living, a new mid-market assisted living and memory care community solution designed to serve the retired teacher, firefighter, policeman, factory worker, public service worker among other middle-class retirees that are the backbone of our society.

Joseph is also a Founding Partner in Crossroads, LLC, a new company built around the creation and development of a rural community healthcare replacement solution.  Crossroads has created a Neighborhood Health Community concept that will provide and answer to the failing rural hospital dilemma.

Jasmon has also served as CEO of Shepherd Senior Living, where he was responsible for providing overall leadership to the organization and its Board of Directors, overseeing growth, development and strategy, and ensuring strong financial performance and outstanding resident care.

Prior to his role with Shepherd, Jasmon served as COO of The LaSalle Group, Inc., where he provided top-level leadership to The LaSalle Group’s overall operations and its four divisions. Jasmon also directed and oversaw the expansion efforts of the business, growing the Memory Care portfolio from 12 to 40 communities, with an average occupancy well over 94%.  He researched and developed new business opportunities and furthered the strategic vision and goals of the company.

Jasmon has served as visionary leader and Chief Operating Officer for multiple Health Systems – Renown Health, Memorial Health, St. Mary’s Medical Center, Caritas Christi Healthcare System, Good Shepherd Health System and Memorial Health University Physicians.

With over 25 years of experience in operational improvement and optimization of resources, Jasmon has additionally served a multitude of healthcare, senior living and general business clients.

He holds a BA and MBA from the University of Illinois – Springfield, and is a member of Argentum, ASHA and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), Medical Group Management Association and the Knights of Columbus.

Amy Jasmon, Founder; COO

Amy is the Director of Operations for American Healthcare Management Group.  She is responsible for the overall operations of AHMG, LP.  She oversees all logistics, travel, scheduling, billing and expense report management.  Amy serves as the Lead Consultant for all Physician Office Management Clients.  She oversees all client relationships.  Amy serves on the Board of Directors for AHMG, LP as well.

Amy served as the Director of Operations for Shepherd Senior Living where she led the on-site start-up teams.  She focused on the completion of the operational objectives, marketing, community involvement, hiring staff and pre-leasing activities.  Amy also gave support to the operations of the communities post opening through stabilization.  Her passion for the care of the residents and her skills in problem solving made her the perfect fit for Shepherd Senior Living.

Prior to her role with Shepherd, Amy served as Chief Financial Officer and Partner for American Healthcare Management Group, a nationally recognized consulting firm.  Amy has also served as a Management Consultant at Progressive Healthcare.  During this time, she was in charge of a large Collections contract for a physician group and worked on various physician accounts and physician office stabilizations.  Amy’s early career started as an Account Representative overseeing the printing and distribution for American Express Publishing- Travel and Leisure and Food and Wine Magazines.

Amy has 25 years of experience in Communications, Logistics, Finance, Management, Healthcare and Senior Living.  She possesses a BS in Communications from Northern Illinois University located in DeKalb, Illinois. 

Nick Jasmon, Vice President of Business Development

Nick is the Vice President of Business Development for American Healthcare Management Group.  Nick is responsible for the sales and marketing strategies for AHMG. Nick also oversees the sales and marketing, life engagement and maintenance functions of our senior living communities. Nick possesses four years of hands-on experience in Senior Living and five years of experience in Family Enterprise.

Prior to AHMG, Nick has been a part of several projects to help advance the level of care provided and technology created for Senior Living communities. These projects and technologies have helped drive a new standard in Senior Care throughout the industry.    

Nick has extensive experience in working within family systems, succession planning, role development, social media, SEO, and other marketing methods. He serves as a key member on the competitive analysis team and leads the Family Enterprise Division of AHMG along with the cost reduction service platform. Nick received a BS in Family Enterprise from Stetson University located in DeLand, FL.

Michael Heard, Partner

Michael serves as a Partner at American Healthcare Management Group.  In his role he serves as the leader of the Healthcare Division and the Corporate and Leadership Development Team.

Michael is one of the best healthcare consultancy facilitators in the business. He combines business acumen with a keen understanding of human nature to bring people and groups together. Michael has developed the “Three Big Questions” he has mastered three disciplines of comedy, spirituality and counseling. Accordingly, he is well armed to achieve what he sets out to accomplish.

Michael possesses 20 plus years of experience in private/public healthcare companies and not-for-profit organizations.  Michael is an experienced strategic leader, relationship manager, board advisor and team leader.  Prior to working with AHMG, Michael was the National Practice Leader for Healthcare Consulting at Quorum Health Resources.

Michael possesses a Master of Divinity from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Arts from Oklahoma City University.

Eric Beck, Senior Partner

Eric and Bouchard Insurance are Strategic Partners and Advisors to American Healthcare Management Group.  Eric joined Bouchard Insurance in 2003. He is a part of the Bouchard Insurance ownership group and is one of the majority owners. 

He was elected to the Board of Director’s in 2013.  Eric oversees the Health and Human Services Division. Prior to joining Bouchard Insurance, Eric was a manager for Wells Fargo Financial and an owner of a retail franchise. Eric has been very active in numerous associations and regularly speaks and conducts seminars on ways to reduce your insurance costs and improve your risk management programs.

Eric spends a significant amount of time in Tallahassee lobbying on behalf of his clients. Within the agency, he has been involved in the strategic planning for the company since 2007. Bouchard is currently the endorsed agent for the Florida Health Care Association and the Florida Association of Community Health Centers.

Dave Lomaka, Partner

Dave serves as practice leader for recruiting within the American Healthcare Management Group.  Dave is also Managing Partner of Global Recruiters - Clearwater, David brings over 30 years of Leadership experience in both the Public and Private sector of organizations providing Behavioral Healthcare, and Health and Human Services.

Dave specializes in working with organizations looking for a change in management, culture, innovation and growth, David has a successful track record of organizations financial, service, quality, Leadership and Board Development. Having been through several successful Executive level Searches himself, as well as others with direct Board searches, David will bring a valuable skill set to both identify and qualify candidates as well as to lead national searches for that perfect candidate.

David’s experiences have included being the Chief Executive of large Behavioral healthcare centers, Senior Leadership to a variety of health and human services companies, both private and public, working in several states including Michigan, Florida and Indiana, and the Managing Partner of two Consulting companies, including GRN - Clearwater.

Mike Jasmon, Partner

Michael serves as Division Leader for the Mental Health and Behavioral Division of American Healthcare Management Group. 

Michael Jasmon is also a Public Service Administrator at the Choate Mental Health and Developmental Center currently serving as Director of Forensic and Forensic Step-Down Programs he designed and developed specifically for special populations including individuals with intellectual disabilities, dual diagnoses, autism and traumatic brain injuries. For over 39 years Mike has worked in various roles at Choate including Behavioral Psychologist, Behavior Intervention Committee Chairperson, Assistant Facility Director, Forensic Unit Psychologist and Unit Director. In 1996, he accepted the challenge of developing a secure Forensic Unit for individuals with developmental disabilities which is the only one of its kind in the State of Illinois.

Mike has worked extensively with Criminal Courts over the past 22 years and is recognized as an expert witness with regard to legal fitness restoration issues throughout Illinois He has also developed a highly successful transition program that assists individuals, in coordination with the Court, in achieving successful community reintegration. Additionally, Mike has considerable experience in the field of Behavioral Psychology and has developed successful programs for behavior disordered children and adolescents, individuals with a variety of psychiatric disorders and forensic populations. He directs and coordinates multidisciplinary treatment teams in the provision of comprehensive treatment programs.

Over the course of his career, Mike has developed a vast amount of experience in accreditation survey preparation including involvement with the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Department of Justice. This includes developing policies and procedures, management systems and staff training designed to assist his facility in meeting federal standards of care.

Sean Jasmon, AttachÉ

Sean serves as the Attaché to our Senior Living and Healthcare clients. Sean is responsible for assisting in all areas of operations, caregiving, culinary services and community maintenance for AHMG. Sean possesses 2 years of hands-on healthcare and senior living experience. Sean has also served AHMG as an Operations and Research Associate.

Prior to AHMG, Sean served at the Orthopedic Center of Florida providing assistance to practice physicians and staff. Sean was responsible for patient triage, vitals, suture removal, injections and patient care. Sean was responsible for the full re-organization of the practice medical supplies and equipment.

Sean has also served as a Chemistry Teaching Assistant at Florida Gulf Coast University,  and as the Vice President of the Cancer Research Program. Sean was an intern at My Autism Connection and served as a Medical Assistant at the Athletic Orthopedic & Reconstructive Center in Ft. Myers, Florida.

Sean achieved Dean’s List and President’s list status all 4 years of his undergraduate studies.

Sean received his Bachelor of Science in Biology graduating Magna Cum Laude from Florida Gulf Coast University located in Ft. Myers, FL.
